The core structure of J1939 cable: its advantages in anti-interference and weather resistance

The excellent performance of J1939 cables stems from their scientifically sound and rational internal structural design. Each layer of components is centered around three core objectives: "anti-interference, harshness resistance, and stable transmission", adapting to the complex working environment of heavy-duty vehicles. Its typical structure, from the inside out, consists of a conductor, an insulating layer, a shielding layer, and a sheath layer, with each layer working together to ensure precise and stable data transmission.

As the core of signal transmission, conductors are typically made of multiple strands of tinned copper wires twisted together. Compared to single-strand copper wires, they exhibit both good conductivity and flexibility, which can withstand high-frequency vibrations during vehicle operation and prevent conductor breakage. The insulation layer often utilizes high-quality materials that are resistant to high temperatures and chemical corrosion, effectively isolating signal interference between conductors.

The shielding layer is the key to anti-interference of J1939 cables, effectively resisting electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI), preventing external signals from intruding and affecting data transmission, while also avoiding signal leakage from the cables themselves.
