The selection of J1939 cables requires comprehensive consideration of technical characteristics and application scenarios, and the establishment of a scientific evaluation system. The primary dimension is electrical parameter matching, which requires confirmation of whether key indicators such as cable impedance (120 Ω) and transmission rate (250Kbps) comply with SAE J1939 standards to ensure compatibility with network nodes.

Environmental adaptability is the second most important consideration. Select products with corresponding protection levels based on application scenarios: agricultural machinery should focus on waterproof and moisture-proof performance, construction equipment should enhance its resistance to mechanical impact, and mining vehicles should pay special attention to their chemical corrosion resistance characteristics. The selection of cable sheath material should match the working conditions. PVC material is suitable for dry environments, while specially made rubber is suitable for oily environments.

The third dimension is mechanical performance, including bending radius, tensile strength, and vibration resistance indicators.
