With the intelligent upgrade of heavy vehicles, J1939 cables are facing multidimensional technical challenges. The first is the growth of bandwidth demand. The traditional transmission rate is difficult to meet the massive data exchange needs of the auto drive system, which promotes the research and development of high transmission rate cables, and may need to support higher rates in the future.

The trend of vehicle electrification brings new environmental challenges, and the electromagnetic compatibility issues between high-voltage systems and J1939 networks are intensifying, requiring cables to have better shielding effectiveness. New shielding materials such as nanocrystalline alloys may need to be used to enhance anti-interference capabilities.
