In the process of intelligent upgrading of modern agricultural machinery, J1939 to OBD2 cable is becoming a key bridge connecting heavy equipment and general diagnostic tools. Taking tractors as an example, their power systems, hydraulic devices, and agricultural tool control units commonly use the J1939 protocol to build internal communication networks, while the OBD2 diagnostic instrument commonly used by maintenance personnel is designed based on passenger car standards. Some high-end products have integrated wireless transmission modules, which can upload real-time agricultural machinery operation data to the cloud management platform, providing basic communication support for intelligent applications such as variable fertilization and autonomous driving.
