1. Cleaning and protection

Regularly clean the interface:

Blow away dust and debris from the interface with dry compressed air, or wipe the pins with a cotton swab of anhydrous alcohol to prevent oxidation or short circuit (be careful to wipe dry before use).

Waterproof and moisture-proof:

Avoid using cables in damp environments (such as spraying directly during car washing). If water accidentally enters, immediately disconnect the power and test the performance after drying with a hair dryer.

Anti corrosion treatment:

If used in a high dust, oil, or corrosive gas environment for a long time, a small amount of conductive paste (such as Vaseline) can be applied to the interface to reduce metal oxidation.

2. Cable inspection

Appearance inspection:

Before each week or use, check whether the cable sheath is damaged, cracked, or bulging, whether the interface is deformed, and whether the pins are bent or corroded.

On/off test:

Use a multimeter to measure the conductivity of each pin of the cable, ensuring that there are no open or short circuits.

3. Storage management

Dry storage:

When idle, store the cables in a cool and dry place, avoiding direct sunlight or high temperature environments.

Avoid squeezing and entanglement:

When storing, naturally wrap and lightly tie with zip ties to avoid excessive wrapping that may cause internal cables to break.
